Going with the prompt – the reason I started this site (which is among the many I’ve had in the past) is to:

I do a lot of reading of blogs and other link collectors from a lot of sources and I don’t want to spam the hell out of my friends sharing interesting information
Have a place to show off and talk about my latest electronics projects
Have a place to vent
